About Me
Went to Wheaton College after high school and had a great time traveling,
sleeping in, swimming and doing a little studying. I was captain
of the swim team my junior and senior year and majored in psych
with a minor in art. I chose to travel after college, rather than
move back in with mom and dad, and spent some time in Europe. I
got to work in a funny little bar in Ennis, Ireland and then backpacked
across a good percentage of western Europe. Came back home totally
broke and still completely unqualified to hold a real job. So I
got my Doctorate in physical therapy at Mass. General Hospital and
finally started paying off those pesky loans. I'm now living in
beautiful Pacific Grove, CA which is Monterey's slightly less hip
neighbor. I work in Salinas which is where all of your salad greens
and much of your broccoli come from. I love my job and have learned
a lot since I started, including more than one way to say "squat" in
spanish (you'd be surpised how useful that is). I still swim with
a team and have taken up competing in triathlons, however I refuse
to wear flourescent yellow or to talk trash about other people's
bicycles while wearing padded shorts. I have no husbands, kids or
houses to report, but I have a cute dog who fits perfectly in my
apartment. I hope the reunion is a blast.
