About Me
After CHS, I attended college at a TINY school in VT for a year; quickly transferring to Plymouth State after realizing how sorely lacking the VT school was in the Biology field. Seriously. They didn't have microscopes. We took Cartography, folks. Mapmaking. I didn't go to school to be Mercator. I majored in Environmental Bio at PSC and got a job at the state Department of Environmental Services right after graduating. I've been there for over 5 years. I started as an Environmental Technician, doing everything from charging the batteries on air monitoring equipment to responding to hazardous waste spills at 2 am and suiting up in a banana yellow suit and supplied air to clean up the mess...at this point I sample monitoring wells at hazardous waste sites (Superfund Sites to be exact) and write reports for the EPA on the Sites' clean up progress. I just got married on September 17 to Mike after 5 1/2 years of livin' in sin.
