About Me
After high school I attended the University of New Hampshire where I swam competitively for 1 year. After a year I decided that swimming was too much of a time commitment and I wanted to pursue other things. I worked as a rape crisis advocate for SHARPP and volunteered as student represenative for the UNH President's Commission on the Status of Women. I studied abroad in Australia for a semester. I graduated from UNH with a B.A. in Women's Studies/Studio Art with a concentration in oil painting. I've started my graduate work at UNH but that has been on hold for now. I have been busy raising my three children; Johanna-5, Max-3, and Kurt-2. I primarily stay at home with the kids and my husband Jonathan is an Editor for the Nashua Telegraph. In the meantime my creative outlet is my online business making wreaths. I designed the website myself so go easy on me all you pros out there. I also work part-time (seasonal) at Faulkner's Landscape and Nursery in Hooksett. I help people design their gardens and take care of the nursery plants. Once my kids go to school full time I plan to get back to painting and finish my MAT and eventually teach High School Art.
