About Me
Wow, has it really been 10 years? Does that mean we're grown ups?
Well, since CHS...I went to UNH, Durham, along with 1/2 of our class. Had tons
of fun, perhaps too much at times. My Freshman year year I met my main squeeze,
best-friend and future hubby, Dan MacLean. (A MUCH more pleasant last name than
Greenough, by-the-way!) I enrolled into the Air Force ROTC program and enjoyed
a free ride in college. I graduated in '99 with my B.S. in Nursing.
Just a couple months after college, Dan and I were married. We moved to Alexandria,
VA, where I proudly began my career as a US Air Force Nurse at Andrews AFB, MD,
(Home of Air Force One-just outside of DC). Shortly after Sept 11th, a day that
shook our world, we moved onto base for added security. It was an interesting
and scary time. I actually took care of one of the 1st Anthrax victims.
In 2003, my committment to the AF was complete, I separated from the AF as a
Captain, but continue to be an Inactive Reservist until 2007. Just months before
Separation, Dan and I were blessed with our 1st son, Tyler. Being a parent is
by far the coolest accomplishment of my life!!
We happily moved back to NH in 2003, and lived on the Newfound Lake shore for
a year, while our 1st home was being built in New Hampton. In June, 2005, we
welcomed our 2nd son, Brady, into the world.
I am currently a nurse in the Special Care Nursery at The Family Place, in Concord
Hospital. Dan's the Asst. Director at the Community Center in Bristol. We have
2 beautiful boys, a lazy golden retriever named Liberty Belle, and a great home.
We thank God for it all!
